Britain is a wealthy nation, apparently.

So why do we all go through life receiving very little (if any) help and guidance regarding money? Why is it that ourselves and our children leave school not knowing what a direct debit is, how a credit card really works, what interest rates are all about…?

Why is the level of debt in this country so high?

Why does the government wonder why more people aren’t saving for retirement?

Why is there nowhere to go to get answers to our basic money questions?.....

Because the UK has failed to invest in the one thing that affects us all, no matter who we are, where we live, how old we are, how many children we’ve got, and how much we earn… Money. There have been very few places for us to go to get answers to our money questions, and to gain skills relating to money.

Hello! I’m Catriona Brand, and I am passionate about helping women like you to gain the skills necessary to make the most of your money (and to make more of it!). My focus is on providing the information needed for you to take control of your money from budgeting and debt management all the way through to saving and investing.
